Rigging Rigify Stretching Bones Blender Stack Exchange
Rigging Rigify Stretching Bones Blender Stack Exchange My probleme is when i move the bones in rigify i don't want them to stretch, because when they stretch the leg or arm gets messy and taller than it should be. my second question is: how do i deal with elbows controllers so that the arm looks real when rigging?. Tweak bones aren't meant to be used for correcting bending orientations: use rotation of the thigh arm bones (big arrows shape), or the pole target, that can be activated in the rig main properties, instead.
Rigging Rigify Stretching Bones Blender Stack Exchange The issue is that your model is parented to the metarig and not the generated rig. to fix the issue, clear the parents of your model, delete the vertex groups, then reparent it to the "rig" and not the "metarig". When i generate a rig in rigify, it always includes tweak bones, but i want to disable them. i've searched extensively but haven't found an option to turn them off. I want to know how to add basic bendy bones (for something like tails, for example) to a rigify rig, and then be able to generate controls for that rig. how would i be able to do that?. For some reason, rigify in blender version 4.1 generates different settings for the same bones in two rigs. specifically, i'm referring to this bone (selected in the screenshot) that controls the width of the mouth when the jaw control is moved.

I recently started using rigify and i encountered an issue where moving the ik bones on a custom generated rig causes the deform bones (and by extension the mesh) to squash unevenly ever so slightly. In pose mode select arm bone>item>ik stratch to 0. it looks like your grabbing the rig joints you need to rotate the joints in pose mode. i have never had this problem before but i don't use rigify. i usually just rotate the actual joints with the armature set to in front in the settings.
