Resilience Lab Welcome to the rhode island resilience lab! we are a collective of faculty, staff, and undergraduate students across brown university and brown university health hospitals studying stress, trauma, coping, and resilience across all phases of life. Rhode island has developed a statewide coastal resilience plan in response to the increasing risks posed by sea level rise, extreme weather, and other climate change impacts on our communities. this plan will guide our adaptation and response to these growing challenges.
The Resilience Lab Workplace Resilience The present research longitudinal research will examine these processes in the real world using a combination of text extraction of online social messaging during the intensive sampling period, ecological momentary assessment, and wearable technology in combination with predictive algorithms. In june, ridem a proposal for $10 million in essential, locally prioritized, and ready to proceed municipal climate resilience projects statewide, spanning 10 municipalities. Dr. nugent is a professor in the departments of psychiatry and human behavior, pediatrics, and emergency medicine at the warren alpert medical school of brown university and is a child clinical psychologist at hasbro children’s hospital. Past resilience lab members have gone on to pursue successful careers in phd and md training, internships residencies, postdoctoral fellowships, and productive faculty careers in medical schools and top tier (r1) institutions.
