Resilience Hub Series Resilience Hubs We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the city of cambridge, the urban sustainability directors network, and the barr foundation to establish the cambridge community center as the first resilience hub in new england. The hub offers a safe and trusted space where community members can gather, connect, participate in special events, and access resources they need. it focuses on increasing social connectivity and relationships while also providing training to prepare for disruptions.
Resilience Hub Cambridge Community Center Using their mission as the foundation for the assessment, the purpose of this project was to determine what programs, features and assets of the cambridge community center (ccc) could be upgraded and or supplemented to serve as a resilience hub. The ccc resilience hub will ensure that the center can continue providing essential services and resources to the community during emergencies and power outages. What does this initiative mean for the cambridge community center? establishing ourselves as the first resilience hub in new england will allow us to access resources, support, and expertise to increase our impact and better serve the community that we have been serving since 1929. The cambridge community center (ccc) aims to enhance its role as a resilience hub by providing essential community services, emergency support, and resources to improve resilience against climate impacts.

Alleviating symptoms of systemic racism and inequality through innovative programs and services that support the well being of historically excluded youth, families, and seniors living in cambridge and its surrounding communities. We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the city of cambridge, the urban sustainability directors network, and the barr foundation to establish the cambridge community center as the first resilience hub in new england!. Cambridge community center (ccc) is currently focused on becoming the first resilience hub in the northeast. Resilient programming offering additional services and programs that build relationships, promote community preparedness, and improve residents’ health and well being.
