Research Quantum Spin Lab The research program in the quantum spin dynamics group is focused on phase coherence of quantum spins. Our research explores spin dynamics, coherent control, and quantum metrology techniques to achieve high sensitivity and high resolution magnetic field measurements under ambient and extreme conditions.

People Quantum Spin Lab Our research group is proud to announce the introduction of a postgraduate lab experiment on “magnetometry with diamond quantum defects”, the first of its kind in india, as part of bs ms phy curriculum in the academic year 2023 24. At the quantum spintronics (q spin) group, we conduct cutting edge experiments to advance applied spintronic devices through the use of emerging quantum materials. We are an experimental research group working at the interface of quantum information processing and condensed matter physics. our laboratory develops and uses magnetic resonance methods to control and characterize the quantum dynamics of solid state spin systems. Our current research interests are on superconducting, ultrahigh thermal conducting, topological, and two dimensional (2d) materials, while we also have broad interest to other energy related thermoelectric, magnetic, multiferroic, electronic, and photovoltaic materials.

People Quantum Spin Lab We are an experimental research group working at the interface of quantum information processing and condensed matter physics. our laboratory develops and uses magnetic resonance methods to control and characterize the quantum dynamics of solid state spin systems. Our current research interests are on superconducting, ultrahigh thermal conducting, topological, and two dimensional (2d) materials, while we also have broad interest to other energy related thermoelectric, magnetic, multiferroic, electronic, and photovoltaic materials. We create and study quantum spin glasses—and the quantum neural networks they enable—using photon mediated interactions provided by our new technique, confocal cavity qed.
