Research Innovation Newcastle Health Research Partnership Newcastle health research partnership is an accredited academic health science centre (ahsc) and works collaboratively to translate world class research and innovation into real world benefit, improving the population’s health and generating economic growth for the north east and north cumbria region. By focusing on collaboration and interdisciplinary research, we will support and unlock novel, multi partner opportunities that can self sustain and impact our local and regional communities, especially the underserved. As a designated academic health science centre (ahsc), we do this by cultivating cross partner collaboration in health and care research, innovation, education and training. this includes brokering new research and education activities as well as facilitating streamlined joint working arrangements. Deliver high impact innovations through translational research satellites, harnessing world class expertise that includes ageing and long term conditions, diagnostics, advanced therapeutics, rare diseases and population health.
