The curriculum must include basic arts, crafts, humanities, games, sports and fitness, languages, literature, culture, and values, in addition to science and mathematics, to develop all aspects and capabilities of learners; and make education more well rounded, useful, and fulfilling to the learner.

After successfully completing the courses of semester i and semester ii, the students are expected to acquire the skills to be employable as software developer, desktop publishing associate, and graphics designer. All programmes, courses, curricula, and pedagogy across subjects, including those in class, online, and in odl modes as well as student support will aim to achieve global standards of quality. It is again subdivided into two parts: classes 9 and 10 covering the first phase while classes 11 and 12 covering the second phase. these 4 years of study are intended to inculcate multidisciplinary study, coupled with depth and critical thinking.

The 2 credit course is targeted primarily to administrators and general practitioners of higher education. after going through the programme, the participants shall be well equipped with awareness knowledge about various dimensions of nep 2020. Reorienting teaching programmes to ensure the development of capabilities across a range of disciplines including sciences, social sciences, arts, humanities, languages, as well as vocational subjects. Part i. school education this policy envisages that the extant 10 2 structure in school education will be modified with a new pedagogical and curricular restructuring of 5 3 3 4 covering ages 3 18 as shown in the representative figure and elaborated in detail later under chapter 4. All education institutions will be held to similar standards of audit and disclosure as a ‘not for profit’ entity. the centre and the states will work together to increase the public investment in education sector to reach 6% of gdp at the earliest.
