I led a solo, end to end redesign to streamline core flows, introduce more personalized and playful discovery, strengthen lightweight social interactions, and refresh the visual system. i wanted the platform to be as fun to use as any social media available now. Being avid goodreads users ourselves, we worked to solve the user interface and design issue of the mobile app. This caught my attention and motivated me to dig into the root of users’ dissatisfaction and redesign the app to fit their needs. This goodreads redesign offers users an enhanced reading experience, combining a modern interface with personalized features that caters to a variety of literary passions and preferences.
