Recycling Resources Devpost Resources, conservation & recycling advances (rcr advances) is an open access journal that publishes cutting edge research on sustainable management and conservation of resources, circular economy, and resource sustainability. Every year, tons of waste end up in landfills due to a lack of accessible recycling options. we envisioned a digital marketplace that connects waste generators with recyclers and upcyclers, ensuring that discarded materials are repurposed instead of wasted. Recyclehub was born from the need for sustainable waste management solutions in small communities, high school students, artist. many small towns struggle with efficiently recycling materials, and we saw an opportunity to empower residents by turning recyclable waste into economic value. As my first ever hackathon, i wanted to make a very clean and easy to use webpage. the recycling basics center was created with that exact vision. i wanted the user to move in a linear fashion, where the user builds off what was previously learned to go on to the next step.

With a specialized app that will be accessible on the web, people will be able to find and scan objects around them and effectively recycle, reducing global waste by a significant amount.
