Ramsgate Carnival 2011 Ramsgate carnival crowds 2013, lots of fun going on from outside "the royal" in the harbour, great to see so many people turn out. I knew about the carnival, which is around the same time every year, and i live in broadstairs. no wonder everything seems to go wrong in ramsgate if 4:48 is typical of its residents, even pouring gloom on a great day.
Ramsgate Carnival 2011 Light weather delayed the start of the third race for class 1, with 3 to 4 knot winds swinging from south east and gradually backing to southerly 5 to 7 knots. Ramsgate town carnival is a community event that is held once a year to bring our amazing local community together. it is a street celebration that is. Departing in the early hours of tuesday morning, several boats leave ramsgate to sail down the kentish coast reaching newhaven, 85 miles away, where an impromptu ‘pontoon party’ is planned.
