Icfo is a specialist in quantum repeater hardware, including solid state quantum memories based on praseodymium doped solids, in photon pair sources, and in quantum frequency conversion. This position focuses on the performance of quantum key distribution (qkd) protocols over existing networks, leveraging techniques from complex network theory. the successful candidate will join a dynamic and internationally recognized research group at the forefront of quantum information science.
