Find Your Chess Rating Level With This Puzzle I just noticed a 400 point drop in my puzzle rating. clearly a bug. hopefully it will be fixed soon. This doesn't bother me too much but i was doing some puzzles and the maths don't actually add up correctly for my puzzle ratings. i got a puzzle right, it says i gained 13 points but only added 6.

Why is my puzzle ratings remaining stagnant while my games rating increased? a year or two ago, i used to be very good at puzzles but very bad at live rated games. i had huge discrepancies where my puzzle rating could reach 2400, and my live games rating was 1300 or so. Even though my game ratings are around 400 (5 min) and 600 (10 min), my puzzle rating is 2600. for example, i managed a 30 puzzle streak today. however, i’ve noticed that the puzzles i get range from about 1500 to 2200 in difficulty, which feels quite random. I used to have a puzzle rating of 3316. however, i just realized today that my rating is now 2665, even though my history doesn’t show me solving any problems since june (my progress curve shows a drop from 3316 to 2665 after just one problem, which are correct). I’ve been doing a lot of puzzles as of recently and i have got the same exact puzzle 2 3 times on a couple of puzzles. this is a bug and feels unfair as i get rating for a puzzle i know the answer for already. She has a rating of 600 but every puzzle she gets shown is 2,300. on the main page it shows her rating as 2,300 but as soon as you click into puzzles it shows the correct rating of 600 but of course keeps giving her the hard puzzles.
