Protective Order Childfirst Materials Zero Abuse Project Program Zero abuse project is a 501 (c) (3) organization committed to the elimination of child sexual abuse. our programs are designed to provide training and education to professionals and students, and to help transform institutions to effectively prevent, recognize, and respond to child sexual abuse. This course is designed for those participants of a multidisciplinary team, including law enforcement officers, social workers, prosecutors, child protection attorneys, investigators and forensic interviewers.

Zero Abuse Project Help Us End Child Abuse And Protect The Children Childfirst® is an international, national, and state forensic interviewer and multidisciplinary team (mdt) training initiative developed and administered by child protection professionals at the zero abuse project (zap) as well as professionals from child protection agencies throughout the united states, japan, and colombia. Students receive training on the childfirst® forensic interview protocol, which includes child development, memory and suggestibility, testifying in court, legal issues, and preparing children for court. Orensic interview training called childfirst. ocfs has partnered with the developers of childfirst, the gundersen national child protection training center and the professional development program, to provide this nationally and internationally recognized training that both reflects best practice. Childfirst® is an intensive virtual five day course in which students learn the necessary skills to conduct a competent, investigative interview of a child abuse victim using the childfirst® forensic interview protocol.

We take a holistic approach by also recognizing and addressing the intersecting forms of child maltreatment in connection with child sexual abuse. zero abuse project is working to eliminate child sexual abuse in all of its forms. Forensic interviewing is a means of gathering information from an alleged victim or witness to help determine what may or may not have occurred, and it is a key component of many child protective services and criminal investigations. Stipulated protective order restricting access to and use of confidential training materials (childfirst) from zero abuse project that were subpoenaed in a criminal case.
