Proko Figure Drawing Shading Critique This is my 'full figure with tone' effort, along with a few process pics. i find the muscles of the back very challenging, but love the process, and trying to figure it out is fun. Amit shirole submitted two drawings. he did such a great job with this exercise, i think he's a good example for everyone else and maybe an inspiration to do the same thing.

For sure your drawing is technically superior, the proportions, pose and the rendering look more close to the source. i think he is less concern with reproducing the reality and more concerned with the impact, i like the higher contrast he uses, and the sharpness of the muscles. The course now moves into the more concrete realms of figure drawing – body proportions, measurements, and shading. my gesture drawings began to take shape and transformed into realistic renderings.

The proko figure drawing course is, in my opinion, the absolute best way to start learning how to draw properly. these videos break down complex ideas into simple step by step exercises that anyone can practice. For this drawing in itself (especially because it's still part of the figure course, not the anatomy course), i'd just leave it the way it is and simply be aware that anatomy is an area where you can put in some study effort in a near future.
