Portfolio Stopdesign Project newtwitter stopdesign two lawyers are mounting an effort to resurrect twitter, starting with a petition to reclaim the trademark from elon musk’s x. the effort is led by stephen coates, a former lawyer for twitter. We hacked together on the project for maybe two weeks, throwing around ideas, making api prototypes for cross domain communication through iframes. We developed an ever evolving set of common components for twitter that had to stay fresh and in congruency with each platform and its ui changes. i worked with our facilities team on the design of twitter hq’s signage on our building in san francisco. This project takes the solution from the problem and turns it into a simple, working social media platform. it's what you'd call a meme project, but with real code and real functionality. 😎.

Portfolio Stopdesign We developed an ever evolving set of common components for twitter that had to stay fresh and in congruency with each platform and its ui changes. i worked with our facilities team on the design of twitter hq’s signage on our building in san francisco. This project takes the solution from the problem and turns it into a simple, working social media platform. it's what you'd call a meme project, but with real code and real functionality. 😎. We’re expanding the twitter design studio. whether you’ve ever thought about working at twitter or not, think about it now. we have a few open spots that we’re looking to fill in the next couple months. ~700 words. ten years ago today, we pulled back the curtains on a redesign of wired . One of those improvements was adding hover cards to the timeline so users could preview information (location, bio, stats) about other accounts without navigating away to another page and potentially losing their place on the timeline when they came back. Check out the latest stopdesign mini project: mighty goods, a new shopping blog by margaret mason, known for her long running mighty girl weblog. margaret came to me wanting a simple, clean design with integrated images for most of the items she posted. Since its inception, our generation has struggled to pin down an answer to the question, “what is twitter?” i’ve seen attempts at describing twitter as microblogging, a messaging platform, a broadcasting tool, a social network, an information network, an interest graph, and real time communication. twitter, itself, has used phrases such as, “the world in your pocket,” and more.
