Home Incite Incite (intercultural competency, innovation, and entrepreneurship) is an intensive, short term international mobility programme created to prepare students for a rapidly changing, interconnected world. Instead of injecting chemicals that are toxic to cancer cells into the body (like in chemotherapy) or applying an external destructive force such as x rays (like in radiation therapy) to kill the cancer cells, the incite consortium wants to use the patient’s own immune system to defeat cancer. The core technologies that will be investigated in incite are enzymatic conversion, flow chemistry, photoreaction and membrane separation. these technologies are of vital importance for the competitiveness and economic growth of europe’s chemical industry. This project has received funding from the european union’s horizon 2020 research and innovation programme eic pathfinder under grant agreement 964955. The incite project brings together 8 european partners and was successfully launched in brussels, on october 17, 2019. over the next 4 years, it will investigate selected enzymatic conversions [ ]. Within the incite project, we’ll build an immune niche outside the patient’s body. the immune niche mimics the biochemical circumstances within the body’s lymph nodes.
