Camp Tamarack Program overview camp tamarack’s program is designed to provide campers aged 6 14 with unforgettable opportunities and expose them to an exciting variety of sports, water, arts and extreme activities and other incredible programs and experiences. Our overnight camps offer a traditional summer camp experience filled with days on the lake and nights around the campfire! fifth and sixth grade students investigate the ecosystem around them and connect with their peers in our field science based school program.

Camp Tamarack This program guide is organized to help you explore the program offerings available at camp tamarack—including merit badges, leadership and training opportunities, and other skill based programs—and to understand how a typical week at camp is structured. Camp tamarack aims to provide an inclusive and barrier free summer camp and outdoor experiences for all. our wheelchair accessible facilities and innovative programs ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, can enjoy fun filled adventures in a safe and positive environment. Camp tamarack is owned and operated by the american baptist churches of wisconsin. located on over 130 acres outside of waupaca, and holding considerable frontage on the beautiful chain of lakes, tamarack offers a retreat for youth and adults of all beliefs throughout the year. We are grateful to st. albert’s the great church for founding this camp in 1970 and supporting the camp experience for over 50 years. a majority of the campers come from the twin cities area, and transportation is provided from st. albert’s church.

Camp Tamarack Camp tamarack is owned and operated by the american baptist churches of wisconsin. located on over 130 acres outside of waupaca, and holding considerable frontage on the beautiful chain of lakes, tamarack offers a retreat for youth and adults of all beliefs throughout the year. We are grateful to st. albert’s the great church for founding this camp in 1970 and supporting the camp experience for over 50 years. a majority of the campers come from the twin cities area, and transportation is provided from st. albert’s church. With new skills and confidence, teen leaders will apply what they’ve learned by assisting younger campers during our try it day camp and primary camp. they will: this hands on experience is a powerful resume builder for future jobs, volunteer work, and leadership opportunities in school. Since 1996, this weeklong camp aims to strengthen god's children by focusing on his word, the bible. to that end, the camp has seminars, workshops, and discussions. we also try to foster a love for personal devotions. While incorporating one on one instruction and group target training, our archery program consists of fun, innovative team building games, including “closest to the center” competitions, target practice using water paint balloons and more!. Camp tamarack operates under a special use permit with deschutes national forest, and is an equal opportunity outdoor recreation service provider.
