Professional Development Ambitious Science Teaching In this video we illustrate what ambitious teaching looks like in classrooms ranging from high school to kindergarten. the practices were developed through collaborations between teachers and researchers, and they are continually evolving as we learn more about how they work with young learners. In this study, the authors examined a remotely delivered, 3 day pd science teaching workshop to determine any changes to in service teachers’ beliefs regarding their ability to implement ast practices.

In this study, we aim to further explore the reasons behind science teachers’ continuous pursuit of professional development, more specifically of noyce mtfs. This article provides a detailed overview of these pl sessions and concludes with suggestions for supporting teachers in implementing ambitious science teaching strategies. For educators, adapting ambitious science teaching methods requires professional development opportunities geared toward new instructional strategies and assessment methods. it also calls for curriculum reforms that support this shift in teaching philosophy.
