Loved my prius but needed something bigger so i had to sell, i'll get another soon because the damn things are downright handy and just about the best designed vehicle, other than a pickup, i've ever seen. There was some prius hate in my region, but it was already waning when i joined the prius family in 2009. being a multi car family, the difference between the vehicles was sometimes visible, but i can't remember back to the last time it happened. There's someone who parks her prius outside my daughter's school who has an "i brake for wombats" sticker on the back of her car. it looks all green and caring and lovely and priusy. but everybody brakes for wombats. in part, this is because they're cute. I remember one of the worst series of flaming attacks directed at me on this forum (and i have been through a few) was when i stated that for the most part prius drivers drove 10 15 mph under the speed limit (in ideal conditions), braked for houseflies and otherwise clogged traffic. I haven't really seen hate like that towards our prius but i have been asked by a number of people why prius owners drive like a bat out of hell! since then, i've watched for other prius' and, for the most part, it seems to be pretty accurate here in colorado!.
