University Libraries Accepted Into Digital Preservation Coalition Penn state university libraries is hosting two virtual 2025 world digital preservation day programs on nov. 6 about preserving video games and other software. the annual global event celebrates best practices in archiving and storing digitized and born digital content. This research study examined how digitization plays a part in the preservation of documents in university libraries, specifically in its role in conserving the cultural and academic heritage. Conservation representatives from four institutions (the british museum, the preservation lab (cincinnati, ohio), duke university libraries, and stanford libraries) will share their experiences in building and sharing their institutions' digital collections of conservation treatment documentation. This annual celebration is held in the spring, and libraries across the u.s hold events that highlight what we can do, individually and together, to care for our personal collections and to support preservation efforts in libraries, archives, museums, historical societies and collecting institutions in communities all across the country.

The data source comes from the results of previous research on digitization projects in ten domestic university libraries, which were carried out in the period from 2017 to 2022.
