Prep Transition To help children become more familiar with their new school environment we offer a transition program that begins prior to your child starting school. this program aims to get the children familiar with the classrooms and supports them to develop their confidence in the school setting. Rps will notify parents and carers of the outcome of enrolment applications between monday 28 july and friday 8 august 2025. foundation transition sessions will take place during term 4, 2025. these dates will be confirmed in term 3. your child will start foundation from wednesday 2nd, february 2025.

It’s an excellent opportunity for them to seamlessly transition and ensure they feel comfortable for the next year. today, we engaged in a teacher experiment that involved randomly selecting roles from a hat and stepping into those positions for a session. Our final pre prep transition session will be this monday 2nd december from 8:30am 9:30am. pre preps will participate in "move up a class" where they will spend time with their teacher and peers for 2025, in their classroom. Last week we held our second prep transition and parent information session. this is a very exciting time for our school as we support students as they begin their school journey. the current year 5 students will join our future prep students next tuesday and begin their role as prep buddies.
