Powerbi Refresh Issue Stack Overflow When i refresh the powerbi report in powerbi service, i end up getting an empty table. when i refresh it in powerbi desktop, i don't have any issues refreshing. in the online environment, powerbi service, i get the report initially on first upload. When i try to refresh my dataset on power bi service, after a certain amount of time, 15 min on average, i get several types of errors such as: evaluation resulted in a stack overflow and cannot continue.;.

I can successfully refresh my data on the desktop. no issues. however, when i try to update my dataset on pbi online service i get the following error: the table that pbi says is the issue is seemingly random. in this case of the cli logic table the only power query transformation i'm using is "change type" i am using dataflow for some queries. The reason for this problem is generally because, you are using recursion in your query (i.e. a function that calls itself appears). when you had a small amount of data before, you were able to use recursion to calculate power query, so you were able to run it before. You can set (2) parallel actions after the "refresh a power bi dataset". as an example, the 1st action is to send a refresh failure email notification while the 2nd action is to send a refresh success email notification. Yes, just from the error message, you don't have the permission to access refresh the powerbi. the post you reference also said you must has the request permission.
