Possible Fire Hazard R Pcbuild I saw this on facebook marketplace and the seller says it works fine slight damage. i'm tempted on messaging them about the possible risk of a fire hazard or it's fucked. thoughts?. Using these molex to pcie adapters is not safe as molex is not designed to deliver the level of current a pcie connector needs. when using these, you can draw too much current through the molex.

Lets say that the cards are brand new and fully overclocked. the 7900xtx doesn't require possibly faulty 12vhpwr adapters connectors, easy answer. also iirc the 7900xtx tops at 300w max draw. the 4090 tops at over 600w max draw. edit: correction: the max draw on a stock 7900xtx is 360w.
