Platforms The Partnering Initiative Tpi’s first guidance on platforms for partnership, partnership platforms for the sdgs, identified the key building blocks that are needed for platforms to thrive and succeed in their aims. Platforms for partnership are important mechanisms to convene stakeholders around key development or business sustainability issues, and to systematically catalyse partnerships for the sdgs.

Platforms The Partnering Initiative The partnering initiative (tpi) has created a range of resources to support multi stakeholder collaboration among business, governments, ngos, and the united nations. The partnering initiative is dedicated to driving widespread, systematic and effective collaboration between civil society, government and companies towards a sustainable future. With the partnership accelerator, tpi published a research paper, partnership platforms for the sustainable development goals, to understand the platforms that governments and the un have developed to support partnerships, drawing out what it takes for them to build effective platforms. In this episode alberto lidji speaks with darian stibbe, executive director of the partnering initiative, about what it takes to build collaborations that are not only well intentioned, but genuinely effective.
