Planetary Transits Archives Nasa Science Explore over 5000 confirmed exoplanets and compare other planetary systems to the solar system. Launched in april 2018, tess is surveying the sky to find transiting exoplanets around the brightest stars near earth. the release of the 2015–2019 ukirt microlensing survey data contains over 66 million targets.

Planetary Transits Archives Nasa Science Tess monitors millions of stars for temporary drops in brightness caused by planetary transits. this first ever spaceborne all sky transit survey has identified planets of all sizes. As of 19 march 2026, the archive lists 6,150 confirmed exoplanets in its collection. the archive's data include published light curves, images, spectra and parameters, and time series data from surveys that aim to discover transiting exoplanets. This work will fund both a one time effort to compile and convert data for a subsample of planets, as well as the first stages of a long term archiving project that could ultimately expand to archive all transiting planets. Tools are provided to work with the data, particularly the display and analysis of transit data sets from kepler and corot. all data are validated by the exoplanet archive science staff and traced to their sources.

Exofop tess is a publicly accessible website created and maintained by the nasa exoplanet science institute, providing astronomers with access to a voluminous archive of tess follow up data, including tfop data. We provide a database of transit times and updated ephemerides for 382 planets based on data from the nasa transiting exoplanet survey satellite (tess) and previously reported transit times which were scraped from the literature in a semi automated fashion. In combination with ground based transit surveys and scientific results from the kepler and corot missions, jwst will be able to address the detailed physical characterization of up to 250 exosolar planets (mountain et al. 2006; beichman et al. 2006). We describe the contents and functionality of the nasa exoplanet archive, a database and toolset funded by nasa to support astronomers in the exoplanet community.
