As the imp is included in the pidp 10 simulator, plans are afoot to recreate this early arpanet snapshot with a group of pidp 10 and 11s. there is currently a project underway to reconstruct a fully functional replica of arpanet circa 1973, using pidp 10s, pidp 11s and even a pidp 1. Well, the last revisions to the pcb set have been made, and on monday everything should have arrived so we can make the first 50 kits for daring beta testers! but it will then still take a week for the packed up kits to arrive at the fulfillment service we started to use to cut down on shipping costs. These switches are used to start, stop, resume, and step a program. also, a single instruction can be executed from the data switches. sample program: put all switches in the up (off) position. start the emulator. enter the test program. enter 1000 in address switches. push start. program should start running. run light should be on.
