Perspectives Teaching Science Perspective directed knowledge development is central to our approach. it provides opportunities for students to reflect on possibilities and limitations of perspectives, and subsequently on the nature, the strengths, and the weaknesses of specific domain specific ways of thinking. Numerous theories and perspectives concerning the teaching and learning of science are addressed in this book, a few of the more prominent ones of which are referenced here.

This study aims to explore how pre service science teachers, aiming to teach at compulsory schools (grades 4–6) in sweden, articulate their perspectives on science education and how these perspectives relate to their teacher education and future teaching practices.
