Archives Design Letterform archive is proud to be the fiscal sponsor of the people’s graphic design archive. nearly a decade in the making, and yet just getting started, the pgda is a crowd sourced virtual archive of inclusive graphic design history. Started by design educator louise sandhaus in 2014 to celebrate and make accessible a vast variety of graphic design examples by a range of designers and design collectives, the website launched in september 2022. Louise sandhaus is a graphic designer and faculty at california institute of the arts (calarts). she is the founder and co director of the people’s graphic design archive, a crowd sourced virtual archive that expands, diversifies, and preserves graphic design history.
