Looking to add a external sensor panel for my desktop pc. i'm thinking a small tablet using the aida64 extreme route. my question is does it matter what operating system the tablet uses (android, windows, ect.)? any tips from users that have done this will be much appreciated.

Just make sure the lcd has usb power in and hdmi out. you might also want 90 degree angled hdmi adapter and usb connector. annoyingly it's advisable to completely disassemble your pc if you're going to cut a hole in it like i did with mine. this is to avoid getting any tiny metal bits in anything.
