Passingpattern Instagram Linktree Passing patterns are often used at the beginning of sessions to provide a large quantity of touches for players in a small timeframe and may also be used to develop specific patterns of play which are relevant to the team on matchday. Passing patterns are sequences of passes and movements designed to create space, manipulate the opposition, and forge goalscoring opportunities. they can be practised in training sessions to improve team co ordination, build technical skills and develop tactical awareness.

Pattern Passing Passing cross size: 20x20m (w cone in middle) 1. normal rotation  dribble straight, turn back and pass to starting cone, open up to receive again, play the 90 degree pass to other side, repeat 3 kinds of turns (left & right) 2. dribble at cone pass to other side, open up wide (side you did move on), pass left, repeat 3. two players in the middle. Player 1 at (a) starts with a ball. player 1 at (a) passes short to player 3 at (b) then moves lateral receiving the ball back from player 3. player 1 now sends a long ball to player 4 at (c). player 4 at (c) wall passes to player 3 at (b). repeat the sequence on the opposite side.
