Improving Patient Experience At Sath Sath Whilst each member of staff has a responsibility to ensure patients, carers and visitors have a positive experience when accessing our services, the patient experience team provides collective support and leads projects to meet and exceed the needs of the local community. A patient story is a recalled account of your experience, when staying in hospital, or when using one of its services. it is told by you, from your perspective, and allows us to gain a better understanding of what type of care you received. This is an exciting opportunity for patients or carers who have accessed services within the trust since 2021 to get involved within a wide range of services such as; medicine, emergency, surgery, women’s health, maternity, children & young people, support services and corporate services. Historically, the nhs has not always welcomed patients co designing and evaluating health care services. however, this is changing, and sath now welcomes opportunities for patients and carers to engage with the trust in order to be part of the teams co designing and improving services.

Patient Experience Sath This is an exciting opportunity for patients or carers who have accessed services within the trust since 2021 to get involved within a wide range of services such as; medicine, emergency, surgery, women’s health, maternity, children & young people, support services and corporate services. Historically, the nhs has not always welcomed patients co designing and evaluating health care services. however, this is changing, and sath now welcomes opportunities for patients and carers to engage with the trust in order to be part of the teams co designing and improving services. Speciality patient experience groups are being established to drive patient experience initiatives at a local level. the groups will work with services across the speciality to improve patient experience in the area, including: – how the service responds and learns from feedback – identifying trends to inform work and help improve services. Over the past two decades, patient experience has emerged as a foundational aspect of healthcare quality alongside safety and clinical outcomes. The patient experience officer summit is an exclusive, invite only event that unites senior healthcare executives charged with leading their organization’s patient experience strategy. Following the most recent national cancer patient experience survey, the shrewsbury and telford hospital nhs trust (sath) had several areas that required improvement. actions are now being put into place to enhance patient experience for the patients and their loved ones.
