Pathways2resilience, a programme funded by the european union and led by climate innovation agency climate kic, has been set up in 2023 to help local authorities integrate systemic innovation and rapid learning mechanisms into their adaptation plans. The pathways2resilience project adopts an innovative, systemic approach to advancing regional climate resilience across 100 regions in europe, helping shape a cornerstone of economic and social development and net zero commitments. In october 2024, 39 regions and communities began their resilience journey with pathways2resilience, taking part in an 18 month programme to put a transformative approach to climate adaptation into action. Together, we will celebrate the achievements of over 100 european regions in charting their transformative adaptation journey with pathways2resilience, one of the flagship programmes under the eu mission on adaptation to climate change.
