Rowland Unified Career Pathways Program To graduate, all rowland usd students must take two (2) courses, twenty elective credits, from the same cte career pathway. this includes an introductory and an advanced level course. The standards are designed to integrate academic and technical preparation and focus on career awareness, career exploration, and skill preparation in the three pathways. The course covers a broad range of foundational topics such as programming, algorithms, the internet, big data, digital privacy and security, and the societal impacts of computing. this course meets the university of california california state university “d” (college preparatory elective) entrance requirements. prerequisite: algebra 1.
