Our partnership with the montgomery county coalition for the homeless has played a vital role in reworld™ montgomery's mission to support the communities where we operate. working together, we have made a significant impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
Montgomery County Coalition For The Homeless The Org More than 100 different agencies are working together to prevent and end homelessness in harris, fort bend, and montgomery counties, tx. the way home is the collective effort to prevent and end homelessness in the houston region through permanent housing with supportive services. More than 400 volunteers and staff of local nonprofit service provider partners will canvass the three county region to survey people living unsheltered, using an app on their mobile devices. The beacon plays a vital role in the community wide homeless response system known as the way home, changing the path for houston’s homeless in collaboration with the coalition for the homeless and other partner agencies. We are grateful to the many staff and supporters who showed up for us today as we testified before the moco council in support of increased funding for permanent supportive housing and homeless.

We are proud to support the trust act, signed into law today, which protects immigrants seeking services in montgomery county. mcch serves everyone who is in need, no matter where they are from, what language they speak, the color of their skin, or who they love. In support of our mission, mcch operates ten distinct programs: three emergency programs which serve individuals currently experiencing homelessness, and eight permanent supportive housing (psh) programs which serve individuals and families exiting homelessness. As the county’s pilot housing first initiative, pph combines the case management component of transitional housing programs with quicker access to permanent housing by providing subsidized permanent housing and supportive services to over 180 households.
