Eyfs Maths Parent Workshop Ottery St Mary Primary School At albion we teach the mastery approach to maths using the power maths scheme. the workshop aims to help parents to use concrete resources and pictorials to support the under standing of number and simple calculations. parents will also get lots of useful tips of how to further support their child’s learning at home. We offer workshops each term to support parents and carers' understanding of child development and teaching and learning in school. we are responsive to the parents needs and requests throughout the year however the topics below are covered each year. Our workshops cover a wide range of topics and they also provide opportunities for parents and carers to come into their child’s classroom and see how specific subjects are taught. please see the termly overview below outlining the different workshops taking place over the 2024 2025 academic year.
