Climate Matters Perspectives is an internationally trusted research and advisory group leading the work on transformative climate change mitigation and adaptation policy and action at the speed and scale necessary to prevent dangerous climate change while advancing sustainable development. Our media partners and others use these materials to tell science based stories about how climate change impacts local communities, and solutions to limit warming.
Climate Matters Reflection Climate Matters The peoples’ climate vote is the world’s largest standalone public opinion survey on climate change, created to deliver people’s perspectives on climate change to world leaders. However, if we are prepared to do so, then we may indeed acquire the potential to contribute to truly transformative global climate governance that is inclusive and enduring and, in the process, understand our own development and deepen the impact of our work in the world (lynam, 2019). By adopting an interdisciplinary approach and undertaking collaborative efforts, we intend to advance and widen our perspective on the relationship between climate change and society. By protesting new fossil fuel infrastructure, they hope to illustrate that breaking our reliance on fossil fuels and transforming our carbon economy are the only sure means to mitigate climate change.

Realizing that climate variation already matters—independent of future warming—places new demands on policymakers. much climate change policy discourse revolves around averting catastrophic changes in the coming decades. To this end, it begins by providing the rationale for adopting the analytical perspective of comparative politics. then it presents the conceptual framework and gives an overview of the contributions to this issue.
