Nur Sabrina Aishah Biophillic Design In Learning Space Universiti Biophilic design emphasises the understanding of human spatial through natural elements and ecological form into a construction (xue et al., 2019). this research aims to examine the biophilic design elements and their effects in a higher institution learning space. This study contributes to the growing body of research on biophilic design in educational settings and provides practical guidelines for implementation in resource limited contexts.
Nur Sabrina Universiti Teknologi Mara Shah Alam Uitm Faculty Of Considering the above, this paper aims to promote the inclusion of biophilic design in educational paths. to this end, a critical review of the literature on biophilic design in higher education is conducted within the framework of the prisma statement. The eight biophilic elements, such as light and water, significantly contribute to student well being. natural light and strategic placement of indoor plants optimize learning spaces. understanding neuroscience can mitigate negative cognitive factors like stress and attention fatigue. This research underscores the importance of integrating sustainable and biophilic design principles into urban educational environments, ultimately enhancing student well being and academic performance in a student centric urban design theme. (3) what are the key design strategies in biophilic design? this review identifies and compares the key frameworks of biophilic design and explains their major elements.

(3) what are the key design strategies in biophilic design? this review identifies and compares the key frameworks of biophilic design and explains their major elements. Five study areas were identified and evaluated in terms of biophilic design. at each study area, nine students participated in an open and close ended questionnaire regarding their perceptions on study areas and productivity. This study explores the potential of biophilic design to enhance student learning within university libraries, an often neglected aspect of urban design. The method used biophilic architectural designs were introduced through by the researcher is a descriptive mixed method using both the concept of biophilia by edward wilson in 1980. This study aimed to examine the influence of classrooms with different levels of biophilic design on learning engagement, student satisfaction, and perceived environmental quality among higher education students.
