The branch is made up of five society chapters: computer society (cs), robotics and automation society (ras), power and energy society (pes), engineering in medicine and biology society (embs), and communications society (comsoc). We work on several aspects of hpc including algorithmic engineering (with a special focus on irregular applications), concurrent data structures, parallel programming, performance modeling, runtime systems and resource management. It is heavily involved in the implementation of several national and international research projects on cloud computing, hpc, big data, applications, etc. laboratory members have an academic record of more than 300 research publications in the field in international journals and conferences.
