Nheri Converging Design Partners Tallwood Design Institute The nheri converging design project is a nsf funded research effort with collaboration from oregon state university, colorado state university, stanford university, and penn state university. The building features post tensioned self centering mass timber rocking walls, with buckling restrained braces and all other materials provided by industry partners and sponsors. construction and testing can be monitored via the live webcam here.

Researchers are now consolidating the results of the project to provide valuable data that will inform future building codes. the six story nheri converging design project followed the successful 10 story nheri tallwood project, which concluded tests in august of 2023.
