This project proposes an automated waste segregation system using deep learning, computer vision, and embedded systems to classify waste into biodegradable and non biodegradable categories.

In the present study, a novel three stage waste classification system was proposed. it incorporates the parallel lightweight depth wise separable convolutional neural network (dp cnn) in conjunction with the ensemble extreme learning machine (en elm) classifier. The system can go fully autonomous in the future with robotic integration for self garbage disposal. the project presents an innovative solution to trash segregation issues by integrating automation, ai, and image processing.
