The create syncmirror command creates both the primary volume and the secondary volume for a synchronous remote mirrored pair. this command also sets the write mode (synchronous write mode or asynchronous write mode) and the synchronization priority. We typically use syncmirror in our metrcluster environments. this allows data to be real time synchronized between two different physical locations, yet they are considered the same cluster, but may have muliple ha pairs.
