This forum has supported research on natural hazards which impact community resilience and quality of life in australia. the forums work to strengthen resilience against these hazards. The three day program focuses on using research, science and innovation to transform australia’s disaster resilience and response. a live stream component available on day one for those unable to attend in person. The forum draws on more than two decades of funded research into natural hazards that affect community resilience and quality of life in australia and how to best drive resilience to these hazards. We acknowledge the traditional custodians across all the lands on which we live and work, and we pay our respects to elders both past, present and emerging. we recognise that these lands and waters have always been places of teaching, research and learning. This document outlines the program for the natural hazards research forum 2025, held in adelaide from june 18 20. the forum includes plenary sessions, workshops, and research project presentations focusing on various aspects of natural hazard management, resilience, and community preparedness.
