Week 1 Experience Fulbright I carry with me the echoes of cultural and political debates from berlin classrooms. i hear them resonate when i visit our education centers in more than 20 countries around the world. my fulbright experience has taught me to reflect on our presence and purpose and what they represent. I am very fortunate to bring my family, wife and a two years old daughter to the united states and able to travel among others to los angeles, las cruces, and el paso.
My Fulbright Stories After the nine months i spent as a fulbright scholar in bahia, brazil shooting a documentary highlighting afro brazilian martial arts, graffiti, and ancestral cuisine, i never imagined myself exhibiting actions worthy of such a title. During my 9 week stay and visit from may 14 – july 19, 1994, i became immersed in the american way of life through home stays, business meetings, workshop discussions, dining outs, picnics and conversations with a number of my valued professional colleagues and friends.
