Why It Doesn T Matter Which Linux Operating System You Use I have been using linux for almost 3 years now, and i want to contribute to the community by sharing my experience. i started off using linux as a gag after a discussion between my brother, my dad, and me at a sports bar. I would say i have had a pretty good experience with linux the past 6 months. i don’t ever plan on going back to windows unless some drastic privacy or security issue came up, but even then, that’s what distros and forks are for.
My Experience With Linux My first experience with linux has been overwhelmingly positive. with fedora, i’ve discovered a world of customization options, flexibility, and security that’s hard to find in windows or. My first experience with linux was way back in 1994 when i bought a book from ws labs that had cd's in it for slackware and red hat. installed slackware 1.0 onto my 386dx 40 and liked what i saw. As a computer engineering professor with over 15 years of linux experience, including contributing code fixes to the linux kernel itself, i am intimately familiar with the comparative benefits and challenges of transitioning from windows to linux. In this article, i have shared my experience with linux.

When i started programming the operating system i used was windows, but i was interested in learning linux, i started with ubuntu, this distribution is the first step for all users. I'm ready to try joining that industrious four percent and installing linux on my computers to use as my main os, at least for a week. i'll blog about the experience here. Linux is growing by time, and it is good to learn how to use it, so take the risk and learn something new, it may make your life easier, or not. I feel like learning how to use a terminal, and with it linux as the backbone has given me so much more knowledge about how my computer works than windows or macos ever did, and this feels amazing.
