Apru Irides Multi Hazards Program Campus Safety Report 2015 Apru Apru and the international research institute of disaster science (irides) at tohoku university launched the apru irides multi hazards (mh) program in april 2013 to mark the second anniversary of the 2011 great east japan earthquake and tsunami. Over the past decade, the apru multi hazards program hosted by tohoku university in sendai, japan has worked to harness the collective capabilities of apru universities for cutting edge research on the shared threat of natural hazards facing the region.
