Move A Job To A Different Queue Expand work management > all tasks > job queues > all job queues. right click the job queue that contains the job and selectjobs. right click the job that you want to move. the move window opens where you can specify the target queue. Move A Job To A Different Queue Whenever you print, your operating system adds the job to a “ print queue ” which is tied to a specific “ port ”. if a queue is stuck, offline, or incorrect, you can redirect jobs to a different queue by switching ports. You can move jobs to the processing or printing queue from the held, printed, and archived lists. additionally, you can specify that a job be printed and then removed from the queue. Select report scheduler > administration > activity. specify the search criteria, and then click search. select the one or more jobs, and then click change queue. specify the queue. click ok. Use this procedure to send your documents to an alternate printer when your printer has failed and your documents are stuck in the print queue. to redirect documents to another printer, you must have the manage printers permission for both printers, which is one of several printer permissions. The following example selects jobs from the night queue and switches them to the idle queue. To prevent my 'tubes' from blocking the 'completion' jobs i've added multiple tubes: high, normal and low. new jobs enter 'normal', completion jobs go to 'high' and jobs that would block the queue go to the 'low' tube. the worker (s) also prefer high before normal etc.
