Not selected by raw play stats, only the ones which struck my imagination the most, and which make me smile when i daydream about this masterpiece of a game. feel free to critique and counter in the comments.

Find a better weapon than this. i dare you. this is the most powerful weapon i’ve ever seen! shield is so strong with those stats, but the lack of escape options to get me all the way to zot, with absolutely no flaws whatsoever! carry me? i beat lair and orc mines and don't know what else to do. to manifoldassault for group cc. It's an unrand. 27 is correct. but it also takes up the glove, hat, and boot slots. i definitely wouldn't call it the most rare and powerful armour though. That's one of the parts of dungeon crawl that's one big balancing act. armor takes strength to wear. i've found that encumbrance 2 is a pretty good benchmark for how much strength you need to wear something comfortably. wearing armor you're not quite strong enough for exacerbates the penalties.

Regen is a top tier quality, perhaps the most desirable of any quality, and i believe most top players agree about that. i prioritize regen above almost anything and i have a 22 streak, 2 3 wins on all species and backgrounds, and a few combo high scores. Always c’mon back to comment when i see something amazing. this is by far the strongest weapon i have come across on here. hopefully you’re playing someone strong enough for it. it may be tedious getting it up to level. i would definitely be trying for 15 with it. hopefully it’s as strong as it looks against hell bosses and pan lords. They have the right stats for it so i figure it's almost always the best to wear the heaviest armor that allows stealth and casting. for melee characters it doesn't seem to be a big deal as long as it doesn't kill ev unless i'm using a larger shield and 1h weapon.
