Bridgewater Historical Society Susan i. daut. of john & lovina moore. died apr. 23, 1831. preserving the exciting history of bridgewater, vermont and its many hamlets. 10 am to 2 pm, memorial day to columbus day. museum is free and handicap accessible. other times by appointment. The bridgewater historical society was organized in 1928 by descendants of the first families to settle in the town. the purpose of the society is to make the colorful past of the town as widely know as possible, and to preserve its historical memorabilia.
