Mit Rising Stars Rising stars is a two day intensive workshop that was created to increase awareness among women graduate students, postdocs, and ph.d holders of future academic careers in electrical engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence and decision making. Chemical engineering at mit invites top early career women who are interested in faculty careers in chemical engineering to apply to the cheme rising stars workshop held on the mit campus each fall.
Mit Rising Stars Rising stars in eecs is an intensive workshop for graduate students and postdocs of historically marginalized or underrepresented genders who are interested in pursuing academic careers in electrical engineering and computer science. Civil and environmental engineering at mit invites top early career women in cee and related domains (e.g. materials, systems, or environmental science) who are interested in careers in academia to apply to the cee rising stars workshop held on the mit campus every other year in the fall. Our program includes invited presentations on targeting the academic search process, giving effective job talks, and developing and refining research and teaching statements.
