Missing Simon Bedlam Farm My friend scott carrino told me today that he misses simon, he felt a powerful connection to him and often goes on you tube to hear simon’s bray. i was surprised by this, but should not have been. scott often stopped by the farm to spend time with simon, and commune with him. I visit simon in the barn at night, sing to him in the morning, and we decide that the barn is going to be his home for awhile. we also learn again not to em.
Loving Simon Bedlam Farm Police and animal control authorities barely rescued simon from an impoverished farm where a cold hearted farmer left him for dead, stuck up to his shoulders in his own feces and mud, cramped. I was brought to tears reading about simon, a donkey who was made to live in a makeshift hut made of rotting wooden pallets. he ws not able to stand for a long time. This morning, i woke up early and thought i will be returning to a bedlam farm without simon’s bray to greet me, or lenore’s loving and cheerful presence. two big spirits gone from our lives.
