These dynamometers, along with minipro's electronics and software, are designed for testing a wide range of motors, including electric, gas engines, pneumatic, inverters, servo drives, and gearhead motors. The dyno allows you to test engines under load with correction factor and its modular design allows different size engines and exhausts configurations. on the dyno the engine can be started with starter box, pull start or electronic starter with the aluminium base with anti vibration foot pads. Minipro’s slot car inertia motor dynamometer (dyno) was designed for testing fa130 and fk180 slot car brushed motors. Instructions: open the minipro software and click "connect." make sure the dyno rpm is reading by rotating the flywheel by hand. change pin #8 (boards with 8 pins are v2.0) or pin#3 (boards with 3 pins are v2.1) to on (up position).
